Baby Dream Bag Pattern Testing for Make It Perfect.

Last month I had the privilege of pattern testing for one of my fav Aussie designers - "Make It Perfect."

I have purchased many of Toni's gorgeous patterns over the years and was pretty chuffed to be chosen to test her new design the baby dream bag pattern. Master Moo was pretty excited too.

Little Moo Designs Pattern Review Notes:

I found this pattern to be easy to follow, with a clear layout, great pictures and instructions that made sense. I had the pattern printed onto A3 paper at my local newspaper printer (was less that $3 to do so), cut out the size we needed and away we went.

Fabric choice for this project was this cute moustache fabric (purchased from Spotlight) and navy with white polkadot fleece inner, due to the weight of these fabrics I decided not to add another lining layer however this is optional in the pattern depending on what weight you need the sleeping bag to be. QLD winters are milder than some so this weight is perfect for our climate, I do like that you can adjust this pattern to suit your own climate and it would work well with summer weight fabrics also.

I made my own bias binding with navy and white chevron drill, this was well detailed in the patterns instructions.

Not being super confident with zips, I was worried about this step in the pattern, however it was easy with the pattern instructions! Yes I said a zip was easy! (Not sure why I am so scared of them but this pattern helped me conquer the zipper fear)

Anyway - here is the result - I am super happy with how this turned out and would recommend this pattern to anyone wanting to make a baby sleeping bag. It has now been worn and washed for over a month and is in perfect condition, it keeps my little man nice and cosy at night and fits great.
